Abraham Egnal Papers
Abraham Egnal was a former teacher of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was very active in the Philadelphia area peace movement. He received his B.S. and M.A. degrees in economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Egnal organized many peace rallies and marches. He was the chairman of the West Philadelphia-Main Line Committee of the National Committee for a Sane Nuclear Policy, the Greater Philadelphia Council, and the Philadelphia Mobilization Committee in 1967.

NGO Committee on Disarmament Records
The NGO Committee on Disarmament was established in June 1973 by a group of international NGOs (non-governmental organizations). The organization had petitioned the New York Bureau of the Conference of NGOs in Consultative Status with the U.N. Economic and Social Council to form a Committee on Disarmament at U.N. headquarters. This new Committee would be parallel to the Special NGO Committee on Disarmament in Geneva, Switzerland.

Josephine W. Pomerance was a peace worker best known in the areas of disarmament and United Nations reform. She was an observer at the United Nations, and she wrote, lectured, and consulted on disarmament and arms control subjects. Pomerance also worked with the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom.

Lawrence Scott Papers
Lawrence Scott was a construction engineer, Baptist clergyman, and Quaker activist. He worked as an activist against the testing of nuclear weapons and biological weapons research. He was the supervisor for the Friends Mississippi Project, project director of the Appeal and Vigil at Fort Detrick in Maryland, executive secretary of the Peace Action Center and a founder of A Quaker Action Group.
